The Chief Financial Officer will participate in strategic financial planning and direction consistent with company goals and objectives, develop and direct the company’s financial plans and policies, oversee the overall accounting and finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare P&L statements and monthly closing reports and present them to the CEO, key employees and investors.
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
  • Oversee cash management and liquidity position for each group entity.
  • Build, maintain and review the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Oversee financing strategies and activities, liaise and maintain banking and financial partner relationships.
  • Conduct tax planning.
  • Supervise annual independent audit of financial statements and implement audit recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in accounting and finance on a managerial or team lead position.
  • Proven financial statements compilation, planning, analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Experience with international taxes is a plus.
  • ACCA, CPA, CFA or other professional qualifications is a plus.
  • Professional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Experience working within ecommerce or other IT companies is a preference, ability to work in a startup environment.
  • Experience in preparing a company for public offering or M&A experience is an advantage.
